Rob established Greenacres Cattery in 1996 and has curated decades of experience caring for thousands of cats, all with individual personalities and requirements
Rob and his team are extremely passionate about providing the highest standard of care and comfort for your cat while they holiday at Greenacres Cattery
We understand that cats are members of our families; all cats are treated and respected as individuals with differing personalities and requirements
Our facilities
Located on a 4.5 acre property in Denbighshire countryside, Greenacres Cattery is comprised of two secure, purpose-built, fully-heated, cat-only buildings to provide a comfortable environment
We provide specious accommodation with indoor and outdoor exercise areas that provide enriching views and activities for your cat’s holiday with us
We have separate food preparation areas and litter tray cleaning areas to ensure the highest standard of cleanliness
We have washing facilities to clean and refresh bedding, including any personal bedding brought with your cat, should they require it

We place cats in accommodation that suits their personality and temperament, and offer them affection and comfort on your cat’s terms; for example, new cats sometimes prefer to settle in with space while others prefer the comfort of cuddles on day one

Short stays, such as 1-2 days

Don’t worry! The length of your cat’s visit does not affect the daily charge

We provide wet (pouches) and dried (biscuits/kibble) food as required by your cat, with meals provided in the morning and evening; however, we cannot cater to specific dietary requirements
Our accommodation is spacious with indoor and outdoor exercise areas
We provide enriching equipment and views for your cats to enjoy
We have a plentiful supply of clean and comfortable bedding; please note, nervous cats sometimes find comfort in personal bedding and items on their first visit

All cats must be inoculated against Feline Enteritis and Cat Flu. We will only accept an animal with a current vaccination card. It may be possible, subject to availability, to provide isolation accommodation for any pets whose vaccination has been carried out less than 14 days prior to arrival. Any cat suffering from, or expected to be suffering from, a contagious infection cannot be accepted; this is essential so to ensure we are safeguarding the health of all cats staying with us
We are happy to care for cats on medication. If we have any concerns about the health of your cat, we will seek vetinary advice and any advised treatment will be followed at the owner’s expense
A member of staff must be informed if your pet is currently suffering from any ailment or has suffered any ailment during the last 12 months or since your last visit to Greenacres Cattery (for example, runny eyes or diarrhoea). Please check your pet for fleas prior to their arrival at Greenacres Cattery
Boarding fees are stated at the time of booking; we will honour this price should our fees have increased between the time of booking and boarding
Fees will be charged, in full, from the dates stated at the time of booking, unless at least 24 hours notice of a change to your requirements is given. As you will appreciate, once we have taken your booking, we hold the accommodation for you for the dates specified
All personal possessions you choose to bring with your pet must be clearly marked with you name. We cannot be held responsible for personal possessions that are not marked with your name. We will not accept any bedding that cannot be placed in a washing machine (for example, bean bags) nor can we accept toys that could prove a health risk to your pet
Please do not touch any other pets other than your own. Children must be kept under strict control at all times whilst at Greenacres Cattery
We will provide food, unless your cat has specififc dietary requirements, or you would prefer to provide your own food
